Callet Black variety native from/in Mallorca.

Cabernet Sauvignon Originary from Burdeos. This variety is one of the most cultivated worldwide. It is also one of the most frequently used as base for the great blended wines.

Merlot This is one of the most common/ typical grapes used in Burdeos. The seed/pip is big and the skin thin/soft.

Fogoneu Traditional growing techniques are put into practice so as to get better quality grapes. The vineyard plantation density is limited.

Manto Negre This type is originally from the Baleares, half-term life leaves, large colourful grains/pips; rich in sugar and aromas.

Sirà The most important grape type in de Roine region and in Australia.

Ull de Llebre (o tempranillo) (early crop) This variety with thick skin gets its name due to its early maturity / ripe as it is usually harvested by the end of September. Its wines are of intense colour and with low alcohol graduation.

Pinot Noir

Monestrell This endemic variety on the Spanish Mediterranean coast vigorously grows in dry warm weather.

Premsal Blanc This type is considered the only white native variety on the island. It represents the base for most of the white Mallorca wine types. This is an excellent grape for both solitary vinification / wine-making process and /or in coupage with other varieties.

Chardonnay French in origin, it comes from Borgoña and it is the most widely used / grown white variety in the world. High quality and fine grape / vine. It produces aromatic and subtle wine whose colour depicts that of ripe bananas, dry nuts and amber.

Macabeu Two theories may explain its origin. One considers this type comes from the middle east whereas the second theory mentions it comes from Aragon. In either case, its wines are light, drier, sour and resistant to oxidation and certainly aromatic, with great bouquet.

Moscatell Its strength lies in its aroma and high concentration of sugar what helps produce very distinct wines.

Parellada This variety characterizes by the production of high quality wines, cool, elegant and with great bouquet, generally sparkling. However, its production may turn to be low if cultivated / grown in poor soils and low temperature.

Riesling This variety is grown in Germany, Rhine region since XIVth century or/and earlier. The Mediterranean region gives great personality to this variety; however, it can be grown in cold weather.
